I am DjShock and here is a kind of CV.
There are no things to shock you anyway at
least written in here!
Love on First Sight
1992! My mother has been working on a Radio
station producing her own radio show. That
station called Radio Kastro . I have been there regular
watching her and the entire magic radio world around her.
And the attraction was straightaway.
Take Me In
I asked from the owner of the station
to give me the chance of making my own show and actually having a
test behind the decks. He accepted and with the valuable help from
my mother and the rest producers who helped and tough me to a
point how to play I was there in the beginning of my radio
carrier.
Getting obsessed
The time was passing and I liked it more
and more, I decide to buy my first mixer and after a while my very
first two technics mk2. I was so obsessed that even my friends
were wondering what was happening and haven’t seen me for a time.
It was simple, I was spending time practicing and going out in the
clubs watching the dj's and trying to learn as more as I could.
You got a job!
On 1994 got my first job in a club through
a newspaper in a club named TOPAZ i stayed there for three years.
On 1997 I found another club named BANANA
in a tourist aria and spent there one month.
I met then a guy DJ NICOLA who helped me
finding a job in the aria of AG.PELAGIA it was a pool bar called
FORUM, after I replaced him at PARADISE for a month as he left the
job for a club in the aria of CHERSONISOS, the " IT AFTER DARK
CLUB", but he suddenly decided that he didn’t like the place so we
exchanged clubs.
So 1998 finding me on IT AFTER DARK CLUB
with DJ NUMARK from which I learned a lot because of the
experience he had especially on DMC dj contests and helped me
finding inside me what was the music style that represent s me,
the TRANCE!
That year we had lot of party’s and I had
the chance to work with several famous dj’s such as:
:Mark Van Dale , Marcello , dj jean , Em jay, Dj Jurgen,
Benjamin, Marko V, Eric E, Dj Tiesto, Dj Sunny, Dj Ped and
more....
It’s Show Time!
On 1998 on the same time of the above
activities, we opened with some friends a radio statiion The
station made me feel more interest in the radio production and I
stopped working as a resident dj in the clubs.
So since then I feel a radio dj but in the
same time occasionally I play in several parties all over Greece
